Michele Roccella is Associate Professor of Neuropsychiatry at the Department of Psychology, Pedagogical and Educational Sciences, University of Palermo (Italy). He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Palermo and obtained his Specialization in Infantile Neuropsychiatry at the same university. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Nuropsyopathology of evolutionary learning processes at the Second University of Naples. He has over 368 publications on national and international journals and has been awarded several prizes. His main research interests are neurological and psychiatric disorders in the age of evolution, in particular autism spectrum disorders, genetic-based intellectual disabilities, neuropsychological disorders in epilepsy and myopathies.

Lucia Parisi graduated in Medicine and Surgery, and specialized in Child Neuropsychiatry at the University of Palermo. She is currently researcher of Child Neuropsychiatry, University of Palermo. Since 2001 is part of the School of Specialization in Child Neuropsychiatry, University of Palermo. She is the author of scientific publications on national and international journals, some of which have been the subject of communications and / or reports in conferences. The study of autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders are one of the main areas of clinical interest and research.

Dr. Marco Berlucchi obtained his Master’s Degree (M.D.) in 1993 from University of Brescia, Italy. He received Certification from Italian Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery in 1996. Currently he works in the Department of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology at Spedali Civili Hospital, Brescia, Italy (since 1998). His research interests include the following: endoscopic sinus surgery for sinonasal diseases, diagnosis and surgery of airway disorders, surgical treatment of lacrimal stenosis, sialoendoscopy for diagnosis and treatment of obstructive salivary disorders, diagnosis and treatment of children affected by neck mass, and treatment of sleep diseases. He has authored/co-authored over 50 articles in various journals, having total number of citations of more than 895.

Dr. Dario Galante is a pediatric, neonatal and obstetric anesthesiologist of the University Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, University Hospital Ospedali Riuniti of Foggia, Italy. Author of many publications indexed on PuBMed, member and Editor in Chief of editorial boards and peer-reviewer of many international journals. He is expert in ultrasound regional anesthesia and President and founder of SIAATIP, Società Italiana di Anestesia, Analgesia e Terapia Intensiva Pediatrica (www.siaatip.it), and Società Italiana di Partoanalgesia. He invented a new innovative technique in simultaneous noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring and ventilation called “TED-PLMA Technique.

Professor Meir Lotan, MScPT, PhD is a physiotherapist working as Senior lecturer at the School of Health Sciences, Department of Physical Therapy, Ariel University, Ariel, Israel. He is affiliated with the Israeli National Rett Syndrome evaluation team and is worl expert in physical therapy for rett syndrome. He has a special interest in physiotherapy and persons with intellectual disability, children with autism, Snoezelen and physical activity for peopel with intellectual disability. Other areas of research are pain, Virtual realiry, pressure soers.

Dr. Hiroshi Tanaka obtained his M.D. status in 1989 from Hirosaki University, Japan. Moreover, he received Board certification in Pediatrics in 1992 and Board certification in Nephrology in 1997. Dr. Tanaka is currently Professor of School Health Science, Faculty of Education, Hirosaki University & Department of Pediatrics, Hirosaki University Hospital, Japan. He, as an author/co-author, has published over 140 articles in various journals, having total number of citations of more than 1,275. He has published mainly in in the subject areas of Biochemistry, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Immunology and Microbiology.

Dr. Shashi Kant Tiwari is research fellow at Department of Pediatrics, University of California, San Diego USA. He obtained his Ph. D. (Biological Sciences), from Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research, and Indian Institute of Toxicology Research- India (2015). He has more than 20 publications in peer reviewed journals and awarded with prizes such as “INSA Medal” for young scientist (2015) and “The Tokuji Ikenaka Prize” for best presentation in 10th Biennial Meeting of APSN in Thailand (2010). His main research interests are understanding signaling mechanisms of neurotoxicants, drugs and viral infection mediated neurological disorders.

Dr. Khaled Saad is currently an Associate professor in the Pediatric department at the Assiut University Children's Hospital, which is the largest children’s medical center in Upper Egypt. It is a teaching hospital with more than 550 beds that provides both primary and tertiary care for children in all governorates in Upper Egypt. Dr. Khaled is an editorial member of 41 international journals in the fields of pediatrics and medicine. He is a referee for 61 medical journals.
